The NWS said the first tornado touched down in Montgomery County near Trotwood shortly before 6 p.m. The tornado traveled northeast for about three miles, causing damage to homes and businesses. The second tornado touched down in Greene County near Xenia around 6:30 p.m. That tornado traveled for about two miles, causing damage to trees and power lines.
There were no reports of any injuries or deaths from either tornado. However, the storms did cause widespread power outages, and some roads were closed due to debris. Crews are working to restore power and clear the roads.
