In an upcoming interview with Famitsu, FateEXTRA Record Director Kazuya Niino talked about the improvements in graphical fidelity, hardware performance, and changes to the original game's structure.

FateEXTRA Record is a remake of FateEXTRA for this generation of hardware, a decade after the original game's release, via Gematsu.

Nion said that with FateEXTRA Record, the developers aren't making a game that requires heavy hardware performance.
